Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Watch 4 is compatible with Android 6.0 or higher devices that are equipped with 1.5GB RAM or more. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 comes with the new operating system that combines two ecosystems i.e. Tizen OS and Wear OS.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is the first ever smartwatch which is running “Wear OS Powered by Samsung.” the IS has replaced Samsung’s Tizen platform that was present until last year’s Galaxy Watch 3. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is available in 40mm and 44mm variants while on the other hand Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Edition will be available in 42mm and 44mm variants.
