Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is not compatible with iOS
Samsung has recently launched the next-generation smartwatch in two different variants, the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Edition. The newly introduced smart watches are not compatible with Apple’s iOS. The official page of Galaxy Watch 4 has not mentioned about Apple’s OS.
According to reports, Samsung has no plans to add iOS compatibility to Galaxy Watch 4 at the moment. Other Samsung smartwatches work flawlessly with Apple’s iPhones and this brand new Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is the first exception. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic are also not compatible with the older Android smartphones running Android 5.0. Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy Watch 4 is compatible with Android 6.0 or higher devices that are equipped with 1.5GB RAM or more. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 comes with the new operating system that combines two ecosystems i.e. Tizen OS and Wear OS.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is the first ever smartwatch which is running “Wear OS Powered by Samsung.” the IS has replaced Samsung’s Tizen platform that was present until last year’s Galaxy Watch 3. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 is available in 40mm and 44mm variants while on the other hand Galaxy Watch 4 Classic Edition will be available in 42mm and 44mm variants.
