Google has announced the new Pixel 5a 5G with a bigger battery
Google is planning to hit the mid-range smartphone market with the Pixel 5a. This brand new phone is the follow-up to Pixel 4a that was introduced lat year. The new phone will be launched in US and Japan on 26th August. The newly introduced Pixel 5a has got a bigger screen compared to Pixel 4a, a much bigger battery and an IP67 rating for water resistance. Google Pixel 5a is targeted at the mid-range smartphone market where it’s competitors will be Samsung Galaxy A22 5G and Apple iPhone SE.

Google Pixel 5a 5G is equipped with 6.34-inch OLED display and 60Hz refresh rate as well as FHD+ resolution. This device has come up in just a single colour option i.e. Black. It has got an olive-coloured power button and a punch hole display design. When it comes to camera specs, Google Pixel 5a is equipped with a dual-camera setup that has got a 12MP dual-pixel sensor and 16MP ultra-wide angle lens. It will be equipped with Android 11. This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 765G processor. It is equipped with 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It comes with a 4,680mAh battery which will deliver up to 48 hours of battery life on single charge. It has also been equipped with an in-built Titan M security ship and 3.5mm headphone jack.
