Fitbit Charge 5 Announced With Color Screen, Rounded Design and More Sensors

Fitbit Charge 5 is the latest fitness tracker that has brought one of the most prominent changes to the most famous Charge family. It has got rid of the straight symmetrical look and has come up with rounded appearance and it is the first Charge wearable with color AMOLED display.

The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 3 and the display is 10% bigger than before. It is also brighter than before with 45 nits which is up from Chrage 4’s 200 nits which means now you can see it better under the sun. it has got the option to display on at all the times. The new Infinity Bands are more comfortable for the workouts compared to the old watches. Charge 5 has also been equipped with many sensors which include skin temperature sensor and an EDA sensor that allows you to track stress levels. It has also been equipped with an ECG feature and by just touching the metal frame for 30 seconds will show you an Atrial Fibrillation reading. Fitbit Charge 5 has also got a heart rate sensor which can calculate Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and Resting Heart Rate (RHR). It has also got a blood oxygen saturation monitor (SpO2)it’s battery life is up to 7 days but continuous GPS use will bring it down to 5 days. Within 2 hours the battery will be fully charged. Fitbit Charge 5 is water resistant and you can swim with it for up to 50 meters. It has also got a GPS receiver to track your outdoor activities and provide navigation. The starting price of Fitbit Charge 5 is $180 and is available for pre-orders in different market all around the world.
